Eileen

I had been practicing many of the steps of the 8-fold path (Pranayama, Pratyahura, Dharana, Dhyana for Samadhi) for 15-20 years before I added the Asanas as a regular part of my week.

When I found Hot Yoga about 7 years ago, it clicked, it wasn’t just stretching, holding poses and breathing, there was something about the heat and the composition of the class, that was very challenging physically and mentally.  It felt like I really got cleansed, cleared, and focused while increasing my strength, stamina, and energy.

I’m so glad I was able to deepen my practice with the teacher training last summer and now be able to help others along this path.  Yoga is such a great way to observe my mind, my reactions, my active choices, and I find it a fantastic complement with my meditation practice to really keeping balanced and centered in my life.

"By the power and truth of this practice may all beings have happiness and
the cause of happiness.  May all never be separated from the sacred happiness which is
sorrowlessness, and may all beings live in equanimity without too much attachment and
too much aversion.  Live believing in the equality of all that lives."
