Jeremiah

My yoga journey started in 1997 with Iyengar.  I continued to practice Iyengar off and on until 2004 when I moved from Grand Lake to Evergreen.  In October of that year I started to practice Hot Yoga at Evergreen Center for Yoga.

It wasn’t until I did the yoga challenge in 2008 that I really started to experience the healing power of yoga.  Chronic body and mind depression had been a part of my life for 15 years.  I never thought that doing more yoga would be the catalyst for a mind and body breakthrough, but it was.  Immediately after the yoga challenge I took the training to become a certified Bikram teacher.

A few months after that, I started my training for Vinyasa, which I completed in April of 2009.  I will always practice yoga; it has freed my mind, opened my spirit and healed my body.

"By the power and truth of this practice may all beings have happiness and
the cause of happiness.  May all never be separated from the sacred happiness which is
sorrowlessness, and may all beings live in equanimity without too much attachment and
too much aversion.  Live believing in the equality of all that lives."
